■障害者支援研究部障害者支援研究部は聴覚障害部門及び視覚障害部門を持ち、最新の情報通信技術の発達を取り入れた新しい教育方法・教育機器・システムの研究・開発を行うとともに、障害に基づく学習上の困難を克服するための指導及び支援に障害者基礎教育研究部や各学部と協力して取り組んでいます。また、聴覚及び視覚障害に関する相談・支援、コミュニケーション指導、就職に関する相談・支援・指導、職域開発等も行っています。学内のみならず、他大学に学ぶ聴覚・視覚障害学生の支援活動や支援のためのネットワーク作り等も行います。・障害補償システム開発研究領域主に、情報保障または障害補償機器やソフトウェアの研究・開発・評価、教材作成等を行います。・障害者能力開発研究領域主に、聴覚及び視覚障害に関する相談・支援、コミュニケーションや就職に関する相談・支援・指導、職域開発等を行います。・支援交流領域主に、他大学に学ぶ聴覚・視覚障害学生の支援及びそのための全国ネットワーク作りを行います。■Division of Research on Support for the Hearing andVisually ImpairedThis Division has one section each for the hearing andvisually impaired. Each section focuses on the development ofassistive technology, research on ability development of thehearing and visually impaired, and providing support services.Based on remarkable newly developed technologies in the fieldof communication, new teaching methods and devices for thehearing and/or visually impaired are developed in cooperationwith the Division for General Education and relateddepartments. As such, learners could conquer learningdifficulties due to disabilities. Support service is also providedfor hearing- and/or visually impaired students at otheruniversities and colleges.・Research and Development for Assistive Technologyfor the Hearing and Visually ImpairedIn this section, software and equipment for ensuringinformation and supporting persons with disabilities areresearched, developed, and evaluated. Various teachingmaterials are also developed.・Research on Ability Development of the Hearing andVisually ImpairedIn this section, lessons on communication skills andemployment guidance are prepared, and an audiology serviceis also provided.・Support ServiceThe main work of this section is the coordination of servicesfor various kinds of support for hearing- and/or visuallyimpaired students studying at other universities and colleges.■教育関係共同利用拠点「障害者高等教育拠点」事業平成22年度に文部科学省から教育関係共同利用拠点の一つである「障害者高等教育拠点」として認定され、平成26年度までは聴覚や視覚に障害のある学生が高等教育機関で学ぶ際に有効な支援機器活用の普及、体育や語学の指導法・教材作成、支援者養成・派遣事業等に取り組みました。障害学生を支援する他大学の教職員からの様々な相談に応じつつ、支援のための研修講座も開催して、全国の高等教育機関から障害学生の修学に関するさまざまなニーズに対応しています。平成27年度から「教育アクセシビリティの向上を目指すリソースシェアリング」と題して、培ってきた指導ノウハウや教材、情報コンテンツにアクセスしやすい環境を整えつつ、さらなる情報保障技術の研究、最終教育段階において重要な就業に向けてのキャリア教育・支援を含む新たな事業が開始されました。■Project for "Higher Education Center for Hearing andVisually Impaired" Joint Usage Center for EducationThe Research and Support Center on Higher Education forthe Hearing and Visually Impaired has been accredited as thehub of higher education for the disabled, which is one of theJoint Usage Center for Education by the Ministry of Education,Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2010. By the year of2014, we have been working on diffusing support equipmentusable for the people with hearing and visual impairment tolearn at higher education institutions, developing methods forphysical education, language education and teaching materialsand training and providing supporters. We provide consultationfor various problems received from teachers and staff of otherhigher education institutions where they support service forstudents with disabilities.We also respond to the needs requested by higher educationinstitutions throughout the country by providing the trainingprogram. Beginning in the year of 2015, under the title of“Resource Sharing for Improving an Educational Accessibility”,we develop and maintain the accessibility to education knowhow,teaching materials and information contents that have beencultivated by us for years.Also, new projects havestarted, including informationsupport technologies andcareer education/support foremployment opportunitywhich is important at thefinal stage of education.22障害者高等教育研究支援センター筑波技術大学概要2015―2016
