障害者高等教育研究支援センターResearch and Support Center on Higher Education for the Hearing and Visually Impaired21障害者高等教育研究支援センター近年、聴覚や視覚に障害のある人たちの大学進学が増加しています。聴覚及び視覚に障害のある学生に対する高等教育を推進するためには、障害の特性と学生の個性に即した教育内容や方法が必要です。障害者高等教育研究支援センターは障害者基礎教育研究部と障害者支援研究部を持ち、教養教育の編成と実践を行うとともに、障害補償システムの研究・開発及び障害者の能力開発に関する研究を進めています。また、学内支援にとどまらず、他大学に学ぶ聴覚及び視覚に障害のある学生に対する支援にも取り組んでいます。■障害者基礎教育研究部障害者基礎教育研究部は、聴覚障害教育実践部門及び視覚障害教育実践部門及び教職課程部門を持ち、教養教育・専門基礎教育等の内容、カリキュラム、授業における情報保障の研究等を進めながら、障害者支援研究部や各学部と協力して授業内容の充実、授業方法の改善に取り組んでいます。障害者基礎教育研究部での目標は、「広い視野と総合的な判断力を持つ、豊かな人間性を持った学生を育てること」です。・聴覚障害教育実践部門及び視覚障害教育実践部門主に、教養教育・専門基礎教育等の編成・実践・支援を行います。・教職課程部門主に、障害のある学生が中学校または高等学校の教員になるために必要な教員免許状を取得するための教育とカリキュラム開発を行います。●主な担当科目手話コミュニケーション技術/視覚障害学概論/聴覚障害教育と心理/文学/心理学/英語/アメリカ手話/文章技法/健康・スポーツ/物理学/数学Recently, the number of hearing- and/or visually impairedstudents enrolled in post-secondary education has beenincreasing. To educate them, special educational media areneeded. The Center has two divisions, namely, Division forGeneral Education for the Hearing and Visually Impaired andDivision of Research on Support for the Hearing and VisuallyImpaired. In addition, the Center investigates the improvementof lessons in general education and development of materialsand devices that support disabilities. Lessons for thedevelopment of communication skills and employmentguidance are also provided.We offer support for hearing- and/or visually impairedstudents’studies at other universities and colleges. A nationalnetwork for this support is being planned.■Division for General Education for the Hearing andVisually ImpairedThis division has three sections: one Section for TeacherTraining and two General Education Practice Sections for theHearing and Visually Impaired. The Division studies theimprovement of the contents and curricula of general educationsubjects and teaching methods, in cooperation with the Divisionof Research on Support and related departments. The aim of theDivision is to enrich students with global views, comprehensiveability to formulate decisions, and broad human perspectives.・General Education Practice Section for the HearingImpaired and Section for General Education Practicefor the Visually ImpairedThis section mainly organize, practice, and support generaleducation and special basic education.・Section for Teacher TrainingThe Section for Teacher Training provides education anddevelops curricula for disabled students who wish to serve asteachers in junior high or high schools.
