総合デザイン学科Department of Synthetic Design本学科では生活環境を総合的に考え、生活の中で関わりをもつ住空間や環境、道具や製品、情報やコミュニケーションを、快適に便利に分りやすく、ユニバーサルデザインにも視点を拡げ、美的に創るデザインについて学びます。Synthetic Design offers students with opportunities to studydesign utilized in daily living comprehensively, such as livingspace and environment, tools and products, and information andcommunication. The design needs to be comfortable, easy to use,and aesthetically refined, bringing the universal design into view.●環境デザイン学領域Environmental Design Field環境デザインでは、住まい、地域に必要な施設、公園やまち並み等の生活空間をデザインの対象としています。環境デザイン演習課題を学修の柱とし、それらを思考する計画理論と表現技術を学びます。多くの人々にとって、居心地の良い、美しいと感じられる環境を創造できるデザイナーを育成します。■主要専門教育科目環境デザイン論／環境デザイン演習／住居論／建築計画論／建築史／福祉の住空間論／造園計画概論／住まいの構法／都市・地域計画論／住まいの構造・材料／環境計画演習／デザイン学特別研究（卒業制作）Students in Environmental Design study design for livingspaces, such as residences, community facilities, parks, andtownscapes. Focusing on exercise assignments in environmentdesign, students will study planning theories and skills forexpressing ideas. Students in Product Design willstudy the usability of tools and products, the beauty of form,and commercialization through manual and computercoursework. Students learn theories and bestpractices in graphic design and information structure for thepurpose of contributing to smooth communication in the globaland information society.
